Ready to see your city in a whole new way? Get out and explore unique Toronto neighborhoods like the insider you've always wanted to be. Immerse yourself in the city's vibrant street art culture, and sample from an overwhelming variety of cuisines on offer. Physically distance together to get more from your hometown.
Day 1 Toronto
Toronto is where we started, and we'd like to show you around our home town!
We'll start the day at G Adventures Basecamp, where you'll meet your CEO and get an introduction for today's tour.
Next we head over to the iconic Graffiti Alley, which showcases some of the city's best street art. Officially named Rush Lane, this vibrant and always-changing alleyway (steps from busy Queen St.) has set the backdrop for countless photo shoots and music videos over the past decade. The display currently supports the Black Lives Matter movement.
We hope you've worked up an appetite, because this is when your Foodie Moment begins with a food tour of Toronto's Kensington Market and Chinatown. Discover two of the city's most culturally diverse neighbourhoods with 7+ tastings at different stops. You'll also visit the hidden corners and back alleys as you learn about the area, its history, its culture and, of course, its cuisine!
Enjoy a bit of downtime with the group as we walk back to G Adventures Basecamp for a Hands-On Moment like no other. Meet local Toronto artist Andre Kan and, taking inspiration from the art and neighbourhoods we've visited, let your imagination soar (as high as your arms can reach) with an immersive outdoor graffiti lesson. While we can't pack up your designs to-go, a final snap of your new masterpiece wraps up this Toronto adventure perfectly.
This tour ends at approximately 6:00 pm.
